Support Worker - Barking

Permanent (37.5 hours per week. more available)

£16,520 per annum (pro-rata for part-time, hourly rate £8.47)

You must be able to work flexibly covering early and late shifts, nights, some weekends and bank holidays

Job Role

Supporting individuals with complex and challenging needs in all aspects of daily living, including personal care to supporting them in leisure, education and social activities. Enable service users to express their rights, choices and aspirations. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Outlook Care's policies, procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Person Specification

Experience is desirable; applications also welcomed from individuals with transferable skills. You need to be a great team player, motivated, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills, as well as good basic IT skills.

The Service

Longbridge Road is a five bed converted house over two floors. It has a large communal kitchen and lounge, and a good sized garden where residents can relax and enjoy. There is a range of shops and good public transport links close by.
