Support Worker - Shoeburyness

We are looking for dedicated, passionate Support Workers to join our team in Shoeburyness

Full and part time contracts available (up to 45 hours per week) days and waking nights. You must be able to work flexibly, covering a mixture of shifts during the week & some weekends. You will receive an hourly rate of £9.26, a range of benefits and the opportunity to work alongside a positive and motivated team in a COVID-safe environment.

Job Role
You will support individuals with high and complex needs, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, complex and challenging needs in all aspects of daily living, including personal care to supporting them in leisure, education and social activities. Enable service users to express their rights, choices and aspirations. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Outlook Cares policies, procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Person Specification
Experience is desirable; applications also welcomed from individuals with transferable skills. You will need to be able to work on a shift rota basis, be a great team player, motivated, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills, as well as good basic IT skills. If you hold an NVQ/Diploma level 3 or above, you will not need to complete the practical care certificate.

The Service
Outlook Care's Supported Living Services in Shoeburyness caters for people with learning and physical disabilities and supports people with all aspects of their daily living. The service supports seven people and provides 24-hour care offering personalised support. The service is close to public transport links (bus and train) and has ample parking on site.
