Support Worker - Chingford
£16,520 per annum (pro-rata for part-time, hourly rate £8.47)
37.5 hours per week
You must be able to work flexibly covering early and late shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays
Support individuals with complex and challenging needs in all aspects of daily living, including personal care to supporting them in leisure, education and social activities. Enable service users to express their rights, choices and aspirations. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Outlook Care's policies, procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.
We are looking for dynamic people with a positive and sensitive approach, who can work on a shift rota basis. Relevant experience is desirable; applications welcomed from individuals with transferable skills. You will need to be a great team player, motivated, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills, as well as good basic IT skills.
Larkshall Road is a six-bedded detached bungalow property situated close by to Walthamstow and Chingford town centres. Residents can make use of the lounge, quiet room and large garden with decked area. There is also a range of mobile sensory equipment available for residents. With good transport links to buses and trains, as well as the service minibus, travel is accessible to all.
